Antonio Segui

ANTONIO SEGUI (1934) is an Argentine painter, printmaker and illustrator who studied in Madrid and Paris. His works are socially engaged and often satirical, with a focus on criticizing society and human nature. The most frequent motifs in his art are urban landscapes with a multitude of human figures on the move, reflecting an accelerated life in a metropolitan maze, a loss of orientation and individuality. His works are found in many eminent public collections in Europe and America (MoMa, National Museum of Contemporary Art in Paris, etc.)
