Uroš Đurić

UROŠ ĐURIĆ (Beograd, 1964) graduated and received his masters from the Academy of Fine Arts (majoring in painting) in Belgrade, and studied art history. He has been present on the art scene since 1989, starting with the autonomist (anti) movement with Stevan Markus. He was actively part of the Belgrade punk scene (Urban guerrilla). He participated in several feature and documentary films, works of art, workshops and published comics. He is one of the founders of the art association Remont and launched the Remont Gallery. He is also a graphic designer. His works are featured in many public collections, including the Ludwig Museum in Vienna, Antoine de Galber in Paris, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade, the Zepter Museum and the City Museum in Belgrade, the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina in Novi Sad as well as in many private collections across Europe.
