ĐORĐIJE CRNČEVIĆ (Dupilo, 1943 – Belgrade, 2013) was a sculptor, but he also dabbled in printmaking and painting. Đorđije graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade, specializing in sculpture, and completed his postgraduate studies in 1972 under the tutelage of Prof. Miodrag Popović. He became a member of ULUS in 1968, and group “10+” in 1976. As professor at the School of Fine Arts and Applied Arts in Belgrade he taught sculpture from 1991 to 2008. In his final years he packed his sculptures in glass tubes or metal structures of rectangular shapes.
