Todor Stevanović

TODOR STEVANOVIĆ (1937) completed his painting studies in the class of Đorđe Andrejević Kun (1963) and received his master’s degree at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade under the tutelage of Nedeljko Gvozdenović (1967).

In addition to painting, his art practice includes drawing, printmaking, film, ceramics, mosaics, alternatives to free media, art criticism, art theory, philosophy and literature. He is a member of SANU.

He has exhibited in a number of independent and group exhibitions in the country and abroad. He represented Yugoslavia at the Venice Biennale in 1999.

His works are in the National Museum, the Museum of Contemporary Art, many important public collections in the former Yugoslav republics, as well as in England, Denmark, the Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Australia, South America, the United States, Canada, Austria, Sweden, Russia etc. .
