ERA MILIVOJEVIĆ (Užice, 1944) is one of the first conceptual artists in Serbia, he briefly lectured, and is a member of ULUS.
Milivojević started with a classical style before moving to more conceptual work, Milivojević expresses himself through photography, video art, photo installation, spatial installation, billboards and performance.
He graduated in 1965 at the School of Applied Arts in Novi Sad, then studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Belgrade.
He won the October Award for Fine Arts in 1998.
In the 1970’s Milivojević was a member of the famous informal group of six artists (Raša Todosijević, Marina Abramović, Zoran Popović, Nesa Paripović and Gergelj Urko). These pioneers of a new artistic practice created their art in the gallery of the Student Cultural Center in Belgrade.
