Gordan Nikolić

GORDAN NIKOLIĆ (Deževa, 1951) graduated in 1982 and received his Master’s degree in 1985 at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade under the tutelage of prof. Radenko Mišević. He is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Belgrade in the painting department. He worked as a professor at the invitation of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Cetinje, as well as at many other faculties and universities. He is a member of ULUS. He has been active on the art scene since 1979, and has had 14 solo exhibitions, many national and international group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad, and participated in numerous art colonies in Serbia, Austria, Hungary, Greece, Switzerland, England. Following the recommendation of the Museum of Contemporary Art in Belgrade in 1986, he participated in the work of the XXI Internationale Malerwochen in der Steiermark in Graz. His works are found in all major national and international public collections and private collections.
